Dear Friends, Partners, and Visitors,Welcome to the Well in ACTION website. It is both an honor and a profound responsibility to serve as the Country Director for an organization dedicated to such a vital mission: creating a brighter, healthier future for the most vulnerable children in Ethiopia. Every day, we witness the incredible resilience of children and their families. Yet, we also see the barriers that poverty, lack of opportunity, and unsafe environments place in their path. We believe that every child deserves the fundamental building blocks for a fulfilling life.
Our integrated approach—focusing on Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), quality education, and community capacity building—is designed to break the cycle of poverty for good. A clean glass of water prevents disease and allows a child to attend school. A safe, inclusive classroom empowers them to learn and dream. A strengthened community provides the environment for those dreams to take root and grow.None of this is possible alone. Our work is fueled by the generosity of partners like you—donors, volunteers, government agencies, and local communities, all united by a common purpose.Thank you for your interest in our work.
